Just kidding. We'll be there on the other side, but we usually go after lunch (1:00pm or so).
Nope, you've got your dates mixed up. This one is for next weekend.

You were there? Do you mean last sunday the 13th? If so, I was the fat, ugly guy with a pile-o-surplus guns near the clay throwers. My buddy was there with a couple of his mausers as well. Which one were you? If you are going to be there on the 20th, stop by and introduce yourself. I'll be shooting an AR50 off of front and rear rests. In case you can't find me, Impactco is easy to spot with his 22" Ferret50 upper.

Anyone else going to be there? If you have never been around .50s, this is the weekend to show up. I'll be wearing the orange CalGuns.net hat, as usual.

Jeez, its not the 20th yet? What the hell was i thinking? LOL. I was there this last Sunday. Cant make it on the 20th, got a match to shoot at another range, but Im thinking I may try to shoot there more often. I live in Woodland Hills so its not that far. I usually do NRA highpower stuff with my AR. Just recently moved over from the M1A platform. I was on the pistol range side of the office at the very far end by the clay thrower. Maybe 4 or 5 benches from the end.

No, I was wearing a black boonie hat and a black long sleeve Fox shirt. There was a two guys shooting an AK to the left of me and someone shooting a M4 w/ an Eotech to the right of me, toward the end of the line.

It was pretty damn crowded. About 12 noon it was standing room only. I got kind of annoyed by the guy next to me ripping thru box after box on his AK ,shooting everything downrange except his target he set up. He blew the left side of the base out of my stand.

You must have been shooting right next to us. Black Majik, Beetle Bailey, and I were set up right next to that clay thrower. We were the ones that set up the little .22lr spinner. I was the Asian dude wearing the black Darth Vader T-shirt.

I walked the pistol side a couple of times looking for someone. Down at the end of the line, I saw four Yankees trying to shoot their Spencer Carbines and they had a small field piece there too.

Did you by chance have your gun field stripped putting a cleaning rod in the barrel? I saw a couple of guys sitting at the table behind the line there doing that.

The group I was with was shooting standard looking A2 models. There was 4 of us. One was wearing a USMC uniform.

Not me. Maybe Beetle Bailey. He was having issues w/ his Ruger Single Six, but I don't think he was using a cleaning rod.

Were you shooting next to the Filipino group w/ the M1 Garands?

I'm new to these forums (hello!) and I'll be there at Angeles tomorrow with a buddy of mine in the morning. He's shooting an M1 and I'll be on my Howa, at least until I get my first AR.
