Default squeaky leather

I prefer to wear a leather holster. But when I go get my morning coffee I cant help but notice that I squeak. Most people probably would not notice the sound but anybody familiar with the sound would. Does anybody know of anything that can be applied on the belt or leather holster . Or a belt that is as stable as a leather one.

It has been rumored that talc powder rubbed in might help. I have not tried it, but have noticed the squeaking.

Get some oil soap, or baseball glove conditioner and work the leather. Just like a good ball glove, or car interior.

Wear leather shoes, they will assume it's the shoes if they notice at all. :-)

You could try applying a liberal coat of kydex to the holster.

Doesn't fix the problem, just ask Crossbreed owners. :-)

I rub a light coating of baby powder to mine where the clips rub the leather on my crossbreed, and where the gun rides against the leather. Lasts about a month and takes a whopping 15 seconds to apply and wipe the extra off.

If yours is all leather, does it squeak with out a gun it and you wear it? Needs to figure out if its the belt loops, clips or the gun itself.
