Christmas Card.jpg

Here's me and a few of my guns. Seeing as how this is an AK forum, clearly its the one on the right. Pretty decent Christmas card.

Yugo M92 I just picked up recently... didn't like rails and grip.

Put MAKO grip on

Need MI rails... whenever those get in stock. Might make it an SBR if I ever get around to filing the paperwork.

Disclaimer: I must confess - while i don't see any practical purpose of it in pistol form i do still kinda want to build one, although i'm not totally sure why... feel free to let me know why i think they're dumb yet still want to have one of my very own to love and shoot. Just crazy?

This is 50 yards rapid fire standing up with a draco
although it has tritium front sight which is so wide it totally blocked this target I think its pretty accurate for firing fast and standing up

I believe it was 20 rounds, all red circles is the bullet hit
think its one of those 8 inch circle targets

Hahaha, wasn't sure if you were messing with me or not... had to look that up (morepoop4you).

Not born/raised here in Cali, but I've been stationed here far too long. I typically keep my 1911's around and that's about it. Anything else that would be CA neutered stays in Missouri.

Oh, Straightline Tactical had a Yugo Zastava around 800 bucks yesterday. I thought it was a good deal and worth mentioning to anyone interested. MI rails still out of stock :/

That's what he said. I said 800 was a good price and he told me that like THREE WEEKS ago they were around 600. Don't really want to think about that considering what I paid But, all in all I'm satisfied.

3) i read you guys talking about a trinnion... what is that?

thanks for any info you can provide!

Yeah, they all become safe queens because once you take them to the range 1x you realize being limited to 10 rd mags in such a weapon steals away all the potential fun. Had mine almost 2 years and its only been out once....the day after I got it. I like the all black Yugo AK Pap pistol I saw out of state at the gun show... An AK or AR pistol is a must have in a collection if you have the money.

I treat mine like any other Mag lock firearm. I target shoot with it and when I leave the state I use it how intended.

There has been some discussion about adding a tube or Sig brace to a AKpistol. Better read up on it first.

yeah, unlike ARPistol needs a buffer tube for operation. The AkPistol platform does not. CA might consider it SBR since its been modified.

I just picked up a Draco, setting it free on Sunday, for the guys with the MI quad rails, do they get hot when firing a lot since its a metal rail? I'm debating whether to try a Combloc finish or go metal rail.

Any handguard will get hot with enough rounds, when i had my AMD-65 pistol the rail would get hot after 2 magazines

If Im moving into the state with a M92 pistol I already own, I understand I have to SSE it to make it CA legal. I know in the past it was legal after taking possession to switch it back to semi auto.

Would I be able to prove my M92 was SSE'd and that I modified it back? And if so, how would I do that? Just keeping my receipt from my ffl that SSE'd it?

Is this even still legal? I know it used to be but I dont see current threads about legality of SSE for pistols with the magazine well outside of the pistol grip.

You don't need to sse it. Just make it compliant with a mag lock and 10 round mags.

Sse only is invoked for transfers.
