Depends on aesthetics between the 2. Build will determine how well you complete the lower. I prefer the Patmos slide though.

I have helped a friend build the cheap 80pbuilder kit and I have built one of Chris's. They both function fine, but in my opinion the F and F kit looks nicer if that's important to you.

Frames & parts kits are pretty much all the same, depending on how you build & assemble it.

The Patmos slide is definitely nicer looking, as the Poly80 slides look like the old LWD slides.

However, not sure if paying an extra $150 more for the Patmos slide is worth it, but ymmv.

One thing to keep in mind is when you look at the 80pbuilders, there are all kinds of "hidden" assembly fees. $5 to install channel liner, $20 to install sights, $xx to install upper parts... I forget how the patmos slide comes, but just make sure you compare apples to apples.

Those assembly options aren't hidden, as you can select if you want to pay for their service or not. Just leave them blank and you can still order everything without paying for any install services and still get a complete Poly80 G19 for almost $200 cheaper than what F&F is selling right now. I don't see any other options available on F&F's website other than frame color and engraving services, so you have a lot more options to choose from when ordering your complete build kit.

I'm not for either place, but just going off the available options on each website. I do like the fact that he Poly80 complete kits have a 15-20% discount on them right now, which is making that G26 kit look pretty enticing for under $500.

You're right, I just always hate the phrase "as low as"... Feels like a car sales tactic for some reason to me, lol. Like ive said I've built both and they both run fine.

One thing to keep an eye out for is that F&F is local (in CA), so with the $599 G19 build you will need to pay an additional $52 for the sales tax. However, they do offer free shipping.

Poly80 is located in the mid-west so while they charge $10 for shipping, there's no sales tax on the order.
