Depending on my task, I am often wearing tool bags with suspenders. Not only is a IWB very uncomfortable, it’s impossible to get to and depending on how I am twisting turning with the tool belt and suspenders, precarious at best.
Any suggestions? Or do I just rely on my 18 oz. Vaughan?

I have a wide variety of options from a P380 to full sized 1911. I have pouches for various things on my belt, I wonder if anyone makes a gun pouch AKA holster but fully concealed.

I have bags on both hips, there is no way for me to get to my holster with those on.

Normally, I have one of these hanging off my back. I can get to it lickety-split and you don't want to meet up with either end of it, trust me.

I think inside one of your bags is your best bet. Not sure what kind of sites you’re on where you gotta carry while you’re there. Would it be possible at worst to carry it in a lunch box? Ankle holster maybe.

Based upon my experience pounding nails for a living in my younger years, I’ll suggest that you try pants pocket carry (safest if carrying a 5-shot cylinder revolver), though your tool bags might obstruct access to your pockets. Otherwise, the rigging axe will surely work.

Get a sneaky Pete holster and strap it on the work bag straps or you can wear a belly band.
The sneaky Pete can also function as a pouch bag like you said. I actually have found good luck using a little zip tote that you can find at Target or even the Dollar Store that is usually meant for little toiletries or a notepad. The main compartment usually fits a sub compact very well.

I don't think you have ever worn tool bags but you can't get to your pockets and the only places a pistol would fit are the two pouches full of bore obstructions.

The Wilderness Safepacker is a nice pouch. Not much real estate on most tool belts, though. Pocket holster in a pouch could work, but might be hard to conceal. Shoulder holster? Hill People kit bag? (getting a little ridiculous, now). Ankle holster would work, but not with the kilt.

I carry either a shield or 2.0 compact in a jm kydex holster with a tool belt and suspenders aiwb.
Comfort level is fine but would definitely be slower as the tool belt pretty much covers the grip...it's with me though and I'll take that. |

It's been a long time since I was wearing my Occidental bags on a daily basis, but when I wear them working around my place I keep my piece on the workbench. Not ideal, but it's at home and I'll most likely see anyone approaching.
If it was at work, I'd probably use an ankle holster or the sneaky Pete dropped into one of the bags.

I carry AIWB with bags on. I wear my bags pretty low on the hips and my pants pretty high, so your situation may vary. Definitely not possible if you carry on or around your hip or wear your bags high. One of the guys I work with often carries an airweight in his bags. He zip tied a cheap holster into a removable dump pouch.

I found the solution this evening!
I'll just hire more people to do the work and I'll just do management!

Get a sneaky Pete with the leather loop, not plastic clip. Figure out comfortable placement on your suspenders. Right handed; mount on left suspender. Punch holes in suspenders and SN loop. Two Pop rivets to attach the pouch to the suspender strap. Drop gun in and go to work.
