Default Stuck safety detent. Advice?

Pulled out a lower thst I haven't shot in ages. Last time I touched it was to install a Damage Industries short throw safety. Which was working fine when I was done. Today I noticed thst the safety was extremely difficult to actuate. Took the grip off and the detent screw came out and noticed that the detent was still in the channel. Tried banging the lower against soft surface to knock out the detent to no avail. Tried rotating the safety to see if it would come out, no dice. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Try a strong neodymium magnet. You could also try the magnet along the side of the receiver. Is your detent hole modified to take a set screw? If so I wonder if it is hung up on the threads or some burr left over from tapping the hole. I always thought the threaded hole was a bad idea for that reason.

Remove grip and selector.
Spray brake cleaner into both ends of the selector hole.
Air pressure will pop the detent out if it won't come out with brake cleaner alone.

Selector barrel won't come out cuz the detent is holding it in.

Then spray brake cleaner around the selector as well as the detent hole after the grip is off.
It will free up any goop you have in there.
Did you froglube it without cleaning off the petroleum based preservative oil?

No. I use slip 2000 but don't..... ****.. I just remembered that I used a big goop of blue loctite on the screws that hold in the safety. Brake clean will dissolve loctite?

heat and a twist drill the same size as the hole. you twist drill by hand.
NO power drill unless you have to drill it out.

I missed that you loctited it together.
400 degrees temperature will defeat loctite.
Then you will need high pressure air to pop the detent free.
