I hear the Blue Lantern Corps are recruiting. Their powers are fueled by the emotion of hope.

(In all seriousness, it sounds like we'll have a solid pickup date in 1-2 weeks.
Here's to hoping.

Boy, that machine shop is full of gremlins. Always down for "technical" reasons. Hope they aren't just full of s***.

I'm going to be glad to just get mine done now. Crap, what the heck is wrong with this? Can't a man make a firearm in peace?

there's nothing in any of these DOJ saber-rattlings that say "a man" can't do so.

they seem to be attempting a clampdown on commercial machine shops offering the use of their CNC mills and code to finish firearms for a fee, with the push of a button. quite a big difference.
not that i agree with it, but we all saw this coming.

hmm looks like copyright infringement to me and besides it looks like a generic 80% 1911 frame

from their website:

"Our Company is Pebble Peak. We are launching this campaign to raise capital; to buy a 2nd CNC machine and buy the aluminum we use in bulk to lower our prices and meet the demand for our receivers"

What will the money be used for?

"We have set a pretty low goal compared to the other 2 successful lower receiver campaigns. This is due to the fact that we already have the required equipment to make the receivers. We are going to use the money we raise to buy the Aluminum in bulk wholesale prices. If we raise more than our goal, the rest of the funds will go for leasing a 2nd CNC machine and hire extra hands"

so what is it to buy or lease a CNC machine?

is it me or is there a big surge in business start ups asking people for money and offer to give first dibs on the product but never seems to happen?
always read this stuff before you commit.

Man, lets start a rocket hub account.

On a sad note, no news. Been in contact, no luck. My guess as Ares has done is when nothing is available they will ignore us. :/ ill call again on my lunch.

why would you call a generic 1911 paperweight a "rudius"?
that site screams opportunistic scam...

I was just sharing it because I thought it screamed of infringement of some sort. But I don't know what ares has on the name if anything. Maybe let ares know? I thought it was kind of funny that they are organizing a group buy kind of like what we had going.
