$53.87 after tax.

Thank you for the heads-up. Got a set placed, one less thing to think about on V-day.

This!! Plus the water stinks after a day or so. You have to change it, but the things still die.

Buy a rose bush if roses are expected. They also have cute mini roses now that can stay in a pot if space is limited.

I ordered flowers 4 months ago for a birthday party and when they arrived they looked like crap and we had to revive them and clean them up. Many were tossed to the trash...

Just my experience but it was a good deal when I ordered.

I convinced my girl flowers are a waste of money a long time ago. She just picks her own gifts and sends me the link. She never liked my practical gifts so it works for me lol

Same here, told her roses die and chocolate makes her fat(ter). Never bought her either one. We just go to a nice dinner, usually a week before or after to avoid the crowds lol

Wow... this forum went from:

2017: stocking up on 9mm, 22lr, 45, 308, 223 ..etc
2018: choosing between pink vs yellow vs red roses..

Thanks California.

In for 50 BTW..

Kind of. I like roses, so I picked out the rose bushes I wanted. I like the way the Mr. Lincoln (red) and JFK (White) smell.

A bouquet of dying roses that don’t even smell good are absolutely a waste of money. Sorry.

Actually my current setup where I buy her a gun she doesn't want and I keep it works pretty good.

Nope.... I'm not lying! There are a LOT of other things I'd rather have him spend $50 (or more) dollars on than any type of flowers! Are they pretty? Sure! Do they smell good? Yep!

Would I rather have a new gun? new tech item? diamonds/jewelry? absolutely! All of those last longer than a week and the guns and sparklies last a life time!

Liking the anti-flower posts. Flowers suck....here today, gone tomorrow...what a waste.

Luckily, my wife also likes more “practical” things that last......or a nice dinner.

Scam ....lol

My Daughter is a florist..not around here so not an ad for her business...it you want to make an impression buy Florist quality roses from a florist..get the Equadorian roses...long stem...yes they cost more than the "specials" folks run but man is there a difference...she calls her top end roses "get em laid" stems and they don't miss....the short stubby roses many of the discounters sell are what she and other florists use in funeral displays where they are expected to last for a day or so and nobody takes funeral flowers home (unlike wedding flowers).

One of the on line rose sellers was showing a display with a vase, etc...turns out it looked like a milk bottle...flowers not arranged...so you give the lady in your life cheap, stubby old flowers and a milk bottle and she gets to fill up the bottle and shove the flowers in.."Happy Valentines day dear..."

The NRA should sponsor National Buy a Gun Day for the guys to receive

Why is it “Happy wife, happy life”.....what ever happened to “Happy beau, make him go!”?

Nice....you order her 50 bucks of roses and treat yourself to a new 1000 dollar rifle. AND she can't give you a flack!!!!

Nice preemptive move.
