Default American Eagle rebate sent certified mail

I sent out my 2nd American Eagle rebate certified mail first class. I've been tracking it and it seems to be at the local post office awaiting for AE to come sign for it. Has anyone who sent in AE rebates experienced this?

I haven’t, but was planning on it... this might change my mind now. I thought I read on the rebate form to send standard mail, and was going to triple check before sending mine.

Each one took maybe 4-5 weeks turn around from what I remember, from when I sent it out to when I got the check in the mail. I didn't think much about it to be honest, I just sent it in the mail and forgot about it until the checked showed up, just figured it I'll get it when I get it

My first rebate which I received took 12 weeks. I foolishly cut out all the little UPC CODES from each and every box so my 5.7mm ammo boxes now all look retarded.

The rebate company did not acknowledge receiving it till 6 weeks after mailing (it was stuck in Pending verification as I did the pre-rebate registration which is suppose to speed things up). I sent several nasty messages to them and to Federal Customer Service since everyone here was averaging 6 weeks from mailing to check and they said they had not received it for 6 weeks. Then after acknowledging they received it after sending a picture of what I mailed .... it took another 6 weeks as it was stuck in processing.

I currently have another one stuck at pending verification on one mailed Nov 29.

Not sure why I have such poor luck compared to members here. The post office can be slow but I know it does not take four weeks to receive.

I just wish they would be honest, if it takes those slow short bus graduates 12 weeks then they should state this in there literature ..... as you get worried (and pissed off a bit) that they are trying to rip you off after the 6-8 weeks has passed and there is no check.

I sent my rebate submission to Federal by USPS Priority mail with tracking and delivery confirmation. You don't want to send anything to these guys that requires signature confirmation. It will only delay the process. I am sure they do not want to sign for every submission.

Isn't there a website to submit upc codes for the rebate?

Just be patient, I've sent all my rebates certified mail because it's the cheapest way to get tracking and haven't had a problem.
On Nov. 20th I mailed three more rebates using certified mail which arrived on Nov 24th. They were pending verification until Dec. 15th when I got an email saying they had received them and are processing. If all goes like last time I should be getting my check in a week or two.

There is, but it generates a UPC bar code to be mailed with your receipt and physical UPC codes cut from each box or carton.

Thanks, can we use the bar code on the box from the case or do we have to cut off from each 50 rnd box? Also is there an online only submission option or does it have to be mailed in?

If you submitted online ahead of sending in the documents, you can check status. If its still in pending verification, they have not logged them in yet. Mine was taking longer then the ones I submitted early summer so I called. Everyone is sending them in now ahead of the dead line, so they are beyond slammed.

When they do log them in, you will get an email indicating they received your submission. The one I sent in November just received that email a couple days ago. So they are at least 4 weeks of backlog for mail to be entered....at least.

I have a second that I sent in at the same time that has yet to be entered and is showing pending verification.

I send mine regular mail. No issues. I fill out the form using the upc on each individual box and then only send them the box upc. Worked two times so far. Waiting for my 2 other I sent this month

I did one of each, one from the carton and one from an individual box. People have said in this sub forum that they receive the rebates just by sending in the UPC from the carton. With that done, I have received my rebates.

I think they require a physical proof that you have purchased their merchandise, so mailing in the physical UPC code is required.

i sent all my rebates standard mail.

i'm not gonna poo my pants if it gets lost. while getting the $45 is great, the price of the ammo before the rebate was still within my price threshold for brass cased ammo.

the rebate is just cherry on top.

I have always used plain old mail with a stamp and always gotten my rebate. Many years, many rebates, many manufacturers.

IMO certified mail is just gonna delay things, and what are you going to do if they dont send a rebate - show them proof that you mailed them ..... what exactly? It proves you sent nothing more than an envelope. It does not prove you submitted a valid rebate claim.

I would be shocked if they actually sent someone to get that letter from the post office. If USPS will not attempt a redelivery, then you will be getting that letter back. Eventually...

Slightly off topic, but for those of you who are submitting or have submitted rebates from multiple vendors purchased on multiple dates, do you have to submit multiple forms?

Online there is the option to add multiple products, but there is only a single field each for the date and vendor. It shouldn't really matter, but I don't want my rebate to be denied and I haven't had any luck getting through to someone by calling the number given online.

Maybe the email is enough proof?

Does anyone know, for the 1k round boxes, can we use that code on the brown box or do we need to input 20 different upc codes per case?

You can use the code on the outer box if you ordered a case of ammo.

As tradecraft said.....use the UPC from the small 50-rd. box to fill in your product number online

With your online submission form AND receipt, send in EITHER:

- the case UPC
- the case UPC + 1 50-rd. box UPC
- all the 50-rd.box UPCs..... (if you are that anal)

THEY ALL WORK.....don't make something simple real hard.....C'monnnn, man!

Brownells has been printing their receipt (shipping invoice?) on the back of their shipping labels. Be sure to cut their shipping label carefully at the perforation to save the receipt before you rip that box open

sent mine with standard mail, after about 2-3 weeks they sent an email saying they received it and it's in processing. that was 12/10/17 and nothing has changed
They probably had enough write downs for the year so they will resume sending the money next year

Still says you have til Jan. 8 to buy and the 31st to send in rebate. That's for the 223/556.

https://sporting.myonlinerebate.com/11660/

Only thru tomorrow for the handgun stuff.

You have till 12/31/18 to mail in the 25% rebate form, just in case anyone thought they missed the deadline.

Use the UPC code from the actual ammo box. I had the same problem. I cut out both the ammo box UPC and the Case UPC and stapled them to the printouts from online registering. I have confirmation that they were received but pending until someone processes the rebate.
