I play one much better than I do the other, but I'm working on it (the guitar ). Opposite of B.B.King it's my rifle that's named Lucille. Darn ex-girlfriends.

Staring a new build. Now I just need to find a good price on an EOtech (man, I should not have sold mine), a RRA Dominator mount .

Cool

I was just about 99.9% ready to buy a stag lower and start to build it,but man i just don't know because i live in CALIFORNIA!!! And the guy where i go indoor shooting told me he will not allow me to shoot it there if i had one because i has seen cop's take them away and they have warned them not to allow people to shoot illegal weapons,so i chickened out and instead of spending $1000 on a rifle that maybe confiscated but i very much would love to have,i instead bought a Kel-tec SU-16CA for about the same price with all the goodies you see,So tell me people first what you think about my Kel-tec and second what is really the law here in california? on the OLL'S,THANKS

What i like about this Kel-tec is that it's very accurate and light, and it has detachable magazines O BYTHE WAY u can use m-16 ar-15 magazines on this puppy i guess i am happy with it!!! BUT THE AR-15 IS STILL MY DREAM GUN

Thumbs up

Sweet - call'em clips or magazines, WHATEVER. Read the whole posting - I will help you along, unlike some of the folks here who live to criticize as if they knew it all from the beginning... <sigh>

You all get awfully picky about terminology, don't ya?

Goodness, haven't we all used the wrong word to describe something? Chartreuse vs. GREEN. And, so on... (ya, I know, you thought CHARTREUSE was RED...)

<sigh>

ALL of the rifles (uh oh, is that the RIGHT word???) seen in this HUGE thread are really cool - I only wish people were cool and just let this guy talk about his rifle.

Ranges are all paranoid these days, so it does not surprise me one bit that a range person told him that at all.

By the way, a clip is different than a magazine. BUT --- Instead of PICKING on you, and pointing out the obvious but NOT educating you, I will actually point you in the right direction...

http://www.thegunzone.com/clips-mags.html

Y'all here need to behave a bit differently - EDUCATE to attract the next generation of shooters - don't cap on the poor guy and make him feel stupid. You want to win the war against the 2nd Amendment? Alienating shooters is NOT the way to do it.

Why are you so angry

I was making a joke about how people trip balls when you don't use the right terminology... I thought it would be clear by the "just kidding" in my post, or did I miss something?

How the hell is saying "its magazines, not clips" alienating and capping on the guy? Get off your soapbox and lighten up francis.. Like you I just want to make sure the new shooters get the terms right so when they talk guns to someone face to face they dont sound like some dumbazz gangster wannabe off the street.

So giving him a LINK to something that tells him "it's a magazine, not a clip" is being educating and graceful and is somehow different than just telling him "it's a magazine, not a clip?"

I don't get it.

To get this back on track, new camera, new mods, new pic of one of my rifles.

LAR Skeleton Lower, CMT/Stag Upper, RRA stainless barrel, PRS Stock, slikphoto grip, MI free float YHM break, cheap scope that I need to get rid of, YHM riser, magpul XT rail cover, stag LPK. I just need to order one of the new spikes tactical fake cans to replace the break.

Yes I am sure. i take it to Angeles a lot. I was there Saturday shooting steel with it and one of my other builds. Some people think the PRS stock is a little grey but I have not had any issues with LEO.

Judging from his post count he might not be in the know on things.

I've never been to Burro Canyon before. I was supposed to go a few weeks ago but the private ranges were booked.

there are so many great builds in here, not to mention tons of information on configuring AR's in SB23 compliance, I think we should sticky this awesome thread...... it is one of my favorites

I have no choice, without the crush washer, there is a 1/16th inch gap between the protector and the barrel. Purely cosmetic...but still .

I decided that my AR wasn't heavy enough so more tac goodies inbound...added obligatory vertical grip and TLR-1 tac light.
