Thumbs down 2012 Holiday Flyer

I'm a big Turner's shopper. I don't have any complaints about purchases, store experiences, or employee troubles.

I am however REALLY disappointed with the 2012 Holiday Flyer. Way fewer guns on sale this year than last year. Not to mention that I can find almost every gun in this years flyer in last years flyer (in fact - I thought it was really lazy of your print department to use the exact same layout on a few of the pages, just cut and pasted from 2011 with a font change and a price increase).

I had really been waiting for this years Holiday flyer as last years was just FULL of firearm discounts. What happened this year Turner's? I'm seriously disappointed.

2012

38 handguns
37 rifles
27 shotguns

2011

47 handguns
50 rifles
26 shotguns
as well as a few complete upprers, complete lowers and stripped lowers.

Is this at the store? I'm curious what they have. I'm currently looking for Ruger LCR22, Ruger Blackhawk Bisley, and 10/22 Takedown. Are these significantly cheaper on the flyer?

From the flyer:

Ruger LCR 22 $429.99

10/22 Takedown $299.99

No Blackhawk sale.

I still haven't got mine in the mail. Probably will have to go to the store and pick one up. Until I do, does there happen to be any safes listed?

I don't have the flyer on hand but I believe there are about three safes listed, with the cheapest around $569 I think.

Yeah, they still have not published the flyer online yet for whatever reason. I am beginning to wonder if they purposely want people to come in and get the flyer and purchase a few things while they are there.

I can only guess that with election hysteria still looming around, they don't need as many big-time sales.

Either that or they don't have that many guns to put on sale anymore.

Page 8 of the flyer has several safes and cabinets, by AMSEC, Champion and Stack-On. Prices range from $80 (AMSEC basic pistol lock box) up to $950 (the big Champion).

Default THANKS FOR THE PICS!

Thanks! for posting the pics, too bad I didn't see anything that is really good, was hoping to score a Marlin 795 22LR for $100 like previous sales, but don't see that for that price, only their standard street price of $150. Would be interested in a Hi Point 995 TS for the right price.

thanks. figured i just paid for mine like a week ago.

anyone know if they'll give me the sales price difference? i know the bigger retailers will give you the sale price difference if you purchase something within 30 days of it going on sale. it'd be nice to have an extra 50 to put towards a nice case.

No problem guys, I'm debating that gun scout ruger .308. Any input? Sadly not many of these deals are spectacular but what can you do, something is better than nothing.

It worked on me. Went there to get a flyer and picked up a can of Remlube for $8. I found the same can at the Glendale Gun Show two days later for only $5.

I don't know what I'd use those $11 radios but for $22, why not I guess haha. Might get a Nikon or Redfield scope for my future bolt-action rimfire.

Lol! I came pretty close to buying something much more expensive. But then I thought "hey, why not go on Amazon and check all the reviews first!" and walked out empty-handed except for the flyer.

On a side note, for all who are disappointed with the sales, don't hesitate to sound off on their Facebook page. I am sure they will respond in some way if enough people express their disappointment. They may not make any changes for Black Friday, but may offer better deals for the remainder of the holiday season. Just a thought...
