Default Husqvarna Featherweight 7MM Magnum

This was my dad's second favorite rifle. A Featherweight Husky 7MM Mag. This is a real nice handy rifle imported by Tradewinds in the early 70s. Anyone have experience with Husqvarna sporting rifles? BTW, my dad's favorite gun was a pre 64 Winchester Model 88 in .284.

Nice,

Got my first hunting rifle at 14 from my dad, a used Husky 5000 in 30-06. My father and his friends hand loaded and loaded hot. Turned my shoulder black and blue, mom made dad go buy me a new rifle. Another 1960's backroom gem, a 7mm Rem 700 ADL BNIB sitting on a LGS backroom shelf. My dad had a shoulder pad added to the Husky over in Pasadena, Pacmyre or Weatherby, I think? Found it and the 7mm in his safe last year when he passed, great gun, shot both of them two weeks ago, with some left over hand loads. 10 rounds each, left some bruising. The old Bushnell optics on it are way behind the curve, but I forgot how beautiful the stock was on it. Good guns, good times.

My grandfather had a Husqvarna rifle in .270. My brother got it, but I got his 1903A3 and 1917 Enfield. From what I remember about the rifle, it was a nice looking rifle, and I believe it had a controlled cartridge feed from the magazine.
