How about shooting perfect 1 inch groupings with all headshots on multiple steel targets from 25 to 50 yards? Rapid firing a S&W SW1911 E Series and a Glock 17. Top it off with burst firing a Daniel Defense DDM4!

Default How you shot your handgun target pics!

15 yards. 3 or so reps of 21 rounds each. Almost everything on the target.

First 10 rounds with new XD 45 Service model this morning at Dublin GFOS. Only 7 yards.

Here is the first 50 at 7 yards.

Digging the new XD. Let the wife shoot it and she's enamored with my gun again. She's on the hunt for a 5" Tactical model now. She has a Shield in 9 mm, but likes shooting the big bullets! And she can put them on the X's and 10's consistently!! Surprising how accurate she is with it!!!

10 from my Glock 19 in ~10 seconds, 8 yds, alternating targets.

The group on the right got a little wild.

This is the LAX #7 target, the X ring is 3/4", the next ring is 1 1/2", and the yellow is 3"

M24-3 at 10 yards. On the left Federal 200 gr. LSWCHP and on the right 6 rounds of the same and six of Speer GDHP. Fired double action.

Below the Speer 200 gr. GDHP at 15 yards single action.

Looks better than my target did. Then again we had rain coming down sideways. It felt and looked like that scene in Caddy Shack. I kept waiting for somebody to get hit with lightening. Made it all that more memorable...and challenging. Fun times. Made a few trips to Front Sight...and had an amazing time...every time. Not to mention made a huge leap in ability each time.

Default How you shot your handgun target pics!

Xdm 9mm 5.25, group 7 yards. 10 shots. I installed a Dawson Precision .225 .100 fiber optic front sight. This is how it shot with no adjustments to the rear sight. It appears I got it centered enough on the slide. By the way, taking off the stock sight is next to impossible. I had to cut it off with a Dremel. I tried freezing the slide and heating it up around the sight then I hit it with a steel punch and a mini sledge. It never budged.

Just got this baby DW CCB and start break her in.
I hate those nights site in semi dark condition-I can't see dots yet-not bright enough, I can't see glowing dots yet-not dark enough. LOL

First 10 shots, 10 yards

Update. Yesterday went to Oak Tree and run one more box of 50. Getting better.

Thank you, steel body is 12H x 20W at 100 yards
so basically 1.0/10, 2.5/25, 5/50, ...10/100 accuracy is must
Ammo, gun, myself, everything important
and understanding ballistic trajectory.

my next exercise is half scale steel at 100yard.
I need new eyes!

P320 9mm FS slide with compact grip, 9mm compact, and .40 compact, and .357 Sig compact post voluntary upgrade. 5 yard function/reliability test.

M&P 4.25" 9mm with Dawson Sights, M&P 5" 9mm with Vortex Viper MRDS, M&P9 Shield. See the last photo for 25 yard grouping. The MRDS (slashes) made a HUGE difference vs the Irons (circle)

I'm persistent for S&W 629, tried Remington 180 grain today.
lighter is better for S&W?
627 loves 110 grain, 617 loves 36 grain.

Went to A Place to Shoot today,

Best one was Dan Wesson 715.

75 yard small steels (Turkey, Bowling pin) are still hard to shoot
