Default OK scope for a 10/22?

Found a bushnell 3-9X32 for under $50 new I will only be using this for 100yd max plinking. Do you guys think this is ok or should i spend the extra $125 and get a small leupold?

22lr doesn't have enough recoil to make any scope a POS scope.

I've got a crappy red dot on a 22lr that has been 10 YEARS going strong and about 500,000 rounds through it.

I have that same scope on my 10/22 and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. It's a great value. I just happened to replace the included rings with higher quality units but, in all honesty, I'm not sure that was even necessary.

I bought a Tasco 3-9x on eBay for $13 and a set of $4 scope rings, almost perfect for taking my .22 out to 100 yards. I'd really like more magnification for that kind of distance, I'm looking for a good bargain 10-40x, mite be overkill, but I like overkill.

I have a Bushnell 3-9X32 rimfire on my 10/22 for over 1 year with 5K rounds through it without a single problem. It should be just fine. Even with the supplied rings.

Where did you find it at? Personal or through a store?

Not a bad deal at all....

go to rimfirecentral.com they have tons of info and links to deals on scopes and such.

i got a Mueller APV 4.5-15X for my 17hmr. if you are doing more target shooting, more power has always been better. it is a low enough magnification to hunt stuff with too. pretty clear glass and you'll get better magnification than a similar prices leupold. Everyone raves about them, and it looks good for me so far.

i love my apv on my 10/22. its great, open it up for off hand general screwing around, or zoom to the 14 power for some bench shooting. for the +/-$115 i paid for it, with lifetime warranty, im glad i bought it over a leupold any day.
