More or less finished with my 'build.' Addax built the upper so not sure I can really call it my build. Probably going to switch out the stock to a CTR and waiting on two rail panels to affix the flag and perhaps a Magpul AFG.

Also a little bummed that the 2nd amendment text on the customgunrails.com rail seems to be fading from just easy handling into and out of the safe. Maybe it's froglube related.

Thanks to Kali and Addax for making it happen! And thanks to Wiser Owl for letting me do the transfer there!

Hehe, indeed! I actually saw them on pics on this site posted by another Calgunner and thought they'd be perfect for a 2A build.

The flag was 18.50 plus a round 4.00 shipping and the 2A one was a little more.

I like them though I just noticed today the fade on the text of the 2A panel. Hopefully the flag won't do the same but we'll see.

customgunrails.com is where I got them. They have a bunch of designs and I believe they can use your own pictures/graphics to make personalized rails.

I don't work there, just passing on the info.

So they are printed and not engraved?

Here is the way they describe it.

Our small Laser Engraved Aluminum (LEA) rail covers are made of high strength, abrasion and solvent resistant thermoplastic bonded with a hardcoat anodized, laser engraved aluminum insert. The anodization process prevents the image from chipping, cracking or peeling.

I'm not sure what happened to that rail. I'll possibly have to send them a picture and ask them if they've seen it before.

Where did you pick up the "Join, or Die" dust cover? I have a Stag 2A engraved lower that would go great on!

Got mine from Brownells. Part number 100006140

http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts...?sku=100006140

It's discontinued but they say there are 9 left and I believe they have them at Amazon too.

Good hunting (shopping)!

@ Howard, looks great!

@ Scottsman, you've gotta make your wife a unicorn build. That would be awesome!

My first build! Simple and light.

Went out to Steele Peak and it ran perfectly.

Well finally got it together! First rifle and had a ton of fun putting it together and it was easy work. Only rough part was the trigger guard roll pin. Fudged it up as I could not get the one from Palmetto in, so grabbed a Magpul trigger guard to throw on it instead of just grabbing a new roll pin, and that roll pin went in way easy. Kept it simple for now, but may throw Magpul FDE handguard, grip, and stock on it later. Thank you Addax and Kaligaran for putting on the group buy, went awesome and I'm very happy with it! Now just waiting for the ammo to show up...

Woot! Looks good Sig! KISS rifles are always fun. And good luck to your team. They're looking pretty good right now. Wings got sent home last night but since we didn't even know if they'd make the playoffs, I'm okay with it.

Nirrad I love that pic of you with a huge smile on your face.

Talking Finally got it done

Well after months of waiting and having to make time to get it done, here is my build:

I utilized some parts off another riffle I had and built this one out with my wonderful Calguns lower. Thanks to Addax and kaligaran for setting this up. Also thanks to the guys at Global Arms for supplying me with an upper so I could get this finished.

Pretty. I'm going to make one of mine with FDE furniture. I think they look sooo good!

I finally picked up my lower today (yeah, I know. What took me so long?) As you all know, the Calguns emblem looks great on these lowers. I am debating between a 22 or a featureless build because I hate the idea of neutering this beautiful lower with a bullet button.

Thanks to Addax and Kaligaran for making this happen. Also a special thanks to Lee at Tunn Tavern Arms in Manteca. He is a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with.

Now, about that upper group buy...

Awesome! Better late than never!

The problem is that if some of these bills pass, the 22 will be in the same boat.

Like the dust cover above states, "Join or Die." The time is NOW that we all need to unite and gather everyone we know who values their rights as lawful gun owners in this messed up state to stand up and make their voices heard. We defeated douchebag Yee the first time around (SB249), lets make sure we let the people that are supposed to be representing us that LEGAL action will be sought if they attempt to pass any of these unconstitutional laws that they are proposing!

Forget "We won't vote for you again." "We will sue you in to the poverty and crime-ridden areas you have helped create" would be a better alternative.

United, WE will have the last laugh.

"Recall looms for gun control backers in CA" How great would that headline be?

I would love to see Feinstein/Boxer/Pelosi/Yee/"Moonbeam" standing in line at a homeless shelter....

It takes a lot of time and attention from the business to pull off an excellent group buy. That's part of why it's so awesome that Addax is willing to do this.

Just stay subscribed to this thread, it will happen.

I'm sure those who were part of the CalGuns Lower group buy will get an email.

It takes a lot of time and attention from the business to pull off an excellent group buy. That's part of why it's so awesome that Addax is willing to do this.

Just stay subscribed to this thread, it will happen.

I'm sure those who were part of the CalGuns Lower group buy will get an email.
Exactly. Thank you California Liberal.

Also, with all of the buying craze in the past few months, production across the board is just starting to catch up to the demand, but this still means that we have a few months to wait on certain materials back orders to be fulfilled etc.

Thanks,
AT

Hi Guys,

We are currently manufacturing a whole new batch of AR15 lower receviers. Our new Version 2 AR15 Forged Mil-Spec Lower Receiver, which we will be releasing very soon.

Once we are done manufacturing these lowers, we will be focusing on the AR15 upper receivers.

We are trying to secure a number of forgings for an upper receiver group buy.

Please stay tuned for more details in the next few weeks.

Thanks,
AT
