Take the time to insure your guns, Its a lot of work to go back 15 years and figure values and other details but its worth it. If you're lucky enough to get your gun back from the police, they're usually beat up a bit.

Unless you want to upload the video content to Dropbox or something of the sort. Either way good luck.

Isn't carrying your own pistol in SF without LTC a misdemeanor?

just read the whole enchilada. know how you feel.i caught a burglar on cam 15 years or so ago.it took me 2 years, he kept coming back. i called the s.o. and 4 days later they still hadn't rolled a squad car out so i got my neighbors stirred up about not having any law on our street. when the media got involved they came out and arrested my next door neighbor. i ended up going on real tv, save our streets, sally jesse raphael ,20 20 & some other tv shows. never got grampas service revolver or anything else back but i made a bundle licensing the footage.
don't know if you hunt also or if you got a dog yet but a chesepeake bay retriever is not your moms labrador. i had one at the time of the burglaries and the fact that he wasn't hurt and no blood on floor told me FOR SURE it was someone i knew. i never suspected david ross francom (my neighbor) though.

LOL! That's nothing. I've got a whole long list of absolutely terrible names, dumb names and names that make go "WHAAATTTT?"

Unfortunately, I can't state the names...Too bad.

I saw on a preppers show that they nailed up some barbed wire just about 4 or 5 inches below the inside of the fence line (no way to notice it from the street or outside the fence) in hopes of someone grabbing on and not wanting to hop over. Also, at the really easy points to hop over they had about 1000 nails in a plywood board so if someone did try tp hop over they'd have a nasty surprise and no way to be able to hop over without landing on that....seems sort of extreme, but if your neighbors won't even call the PD when it's obcvious someone is robbing the place, what can you do? A a really big loud dog and get an in the wall safe so they can't easily walk off with your mini. (I have a small gunvault one that the same thing could happen) Stinks.

Except for you getting sued for injuring some dumb *** trespassing when they hop your fence. Also, what happens when the cops are chasing a person and hop the fence? It all sounds good but in todays society you will get sued and possibly arrested.

yeah...I'm out in the sticks and have no fence and didn't give the sue happy part much thought. All of our properties are about an acre or so and am pretty lucky we are on a dead end gravel road. Anyone who look like they don't belong and someone is outside asking questions. a couple Business owners, LEOs and retired LEOs make up our entire street. I hate the city and being fenced in. We are so small you pretty much have to be prepared to handle anything that could happen on your own. 911 is there, but it might mean someone getting out of bed to actually respond.

If one of the suspects has income from an annuity, that means he can pay restitution. Have you mentioned that to the DA or his probation officer?
