They have gotten pretty friendly with my girlfriend and I going multiple times a month. They don't even bother checking our range bag most of the time.

Just let them know about collecting brass and they will generally avoid sweeping them away.

I think we made a new friend by letting the one guy try the five-seven, he looked pretty stoked

Still going to attempt this. If my wife's schedule does not change it's a high 85% that I'll be there. Was wondering if they had the shield in 9mm to rent. I've been itching to try one before I buy.

Last time i asked, 2 months ago, they did not. But the owner does own one, and when I was asking, he said let me check my office to see if I have it here... He didn't bring it, but told me if he had it, he would have let me shot it...

So maybe he will bring it or have one for rent.

For those of you who never attended, we are normally near the couches on the far side if you show up on time or early.

Normally afteractionreport and I will be there. If you arrive late, we are normally on the far right side of the range... they normally save that area for us.

Do you think my wife could try it as well? I'll have at least one of my .40s so I'll have my own ammo.

I haven't really ever seen them enforce the rapid fire rule either. They tend to have a laid back attitude.

I watched a chick close her eyes and shoot as fast as possible >.< They didn't even come out to the range. She got scolded pretty bad by the guy she was with though. Another time someone else was double tapping fairly consistently and they didn't seem to care whatsoever. I've only been there a dozen or so times though.

I'll practice double tapping and dual wielding 45s next time, anyone else in?

¡Sal de mi jard*n!

My caregiver is a 57 yo grandmother and new shooter (Ruger 10/22). She'd like to learn and meet others. She's a new NRA member. Is this a good place to network? She's shot here before.

Yes I think she will have fun if she came along. We normally hang out, shoot each other guns and just talk. It would be a good chance for her to try different guns and network with other gun owners.

Yes most of us are young, but myself and I am sure others are willing to help her and show her guns and how to shoot. I say bring her.
