Grips would be great, especially if the mainspring grooves were done and 1911 grips could be used. I have to admit, im very disappointed in ares for the way the grip situation has happened when we were willing to make improper grips work. I don't see any fruitfullness to this government contract opportunity any longer due to the extended wait.

Govt sucks anyway. So you think that ares, a supposed professional business, should have put out a subpar product because some group of people requested it? I don't know about you, but if my name goes on something it's goin to be the best product I can deliver. If its not my best work, I won't put it out.

Beegeezy, if the grips were there but sanding was needed as was the case with the first set, I'd offer them as an option to those that didn't wanna wait and didn't mind.

I have this sinking feeling that Ares gave us the frames and that's good enough for them.

I would ship what you have and hope someone nearby will step in.

You can't jeopardize your families future over something you have no control over.

The rest of us need to start talking about a lawsuit.

What's statute of limitations on a case like this? I don't want to be screwed because we waited too long.

I would guess a year BUT the question is when does that year start.
On that I would guess the promised delivery date.

What date was the payment made to Ares? If we need to go by that date we better know it.

I think we should start organizing from GB1 & GB2 since there are quite a few of us that gone into this group buy and seek what is the best possible solution, most likely class action. There could be a statue of limitations but since the GB leaders still kept in touch often and have recently gotten a response back shows "intent on their part to keep there word". Things that we should keep are records of payment to Ares, all texts from GB leaders from Ares, and signed affidavits from those who did not receive there complete orders from the both GB's also a (copy of Ares Armor BBB report and maybe facebook page) although these last two things i doubt the court will care about. To keep in mind if we go into litigation not only do we have to sue Ares Armor but also those who produced the frames/grips as we in good faith paid large sums of money and only received half of the goods we paid for, ** which is useless unless we have the other to half.** since it is proprietary only to that company we have no other alternatives.

The half of the goods we did receive have no value without the other half.
