Airguns are simply incredible these days. I never imagined that kind of power and accuracy would be available from an air powerd rifled, cool video. I feel so bad for people in the UK, the airguns they have are regulated even so that can't own something that cool without it being in the same respect as a firearm.

I'm from Canada and have hunted every kind of pest you can think of. I think it would be pretty cool to get a high powered airgun and hunt coyotes and other critters in some of the more populated "shotgun only" areas around LA.
How do you guys deal with the lead free bullet situation? Is anyone using a .35 cal airgun with solid copper handgun bullets? Is it even possible? What about tungsten? |

Thanks Crosman999.
I thought that hunting for coyotes would still require lead-free regardless of choice of weapon? I know that an airgun is not considered a firearm, but I would hate to be out in San Bernardino hunting coyotes with an airgun and get busted for using lead. I'd much rather use lead if it's not breaking any laws. I'm calling them in, so unless the airgun is substantially bigger and heavier than a scoped rifle or shotgun, I'm fine with the size. I also don't mind if it makes a bang by breaking the sound, although I suspect I'll go with a larger caliber and stay below the speed of sound anyway. If you've hunted coyotes with an airgun I'm down for any tips you have. Thanks. |
