Default Sutter County changes from 3 guns to unlimited

That's right, Sutter county now has no limit on the number of guns you can carry. You must still qualify with each type and they will not approve "mega" guns like a .50 cal Desert Eagle, but as long as it is reasonable, you can add it to your permit.

Glad to see that change. Hopefully, other counties will follow suit.

Same unlimited amount of CCW permitted guns here in Tulare county but no range qualifications required. I have five-from .22 to .45.

That's the 'what gun should I carry?' question, and I think different guns for different circumstances is reasonable.

Were I able to get CCW in CoCoCo, and the Sheriff allowed unlimited, I'd probably have six.

Why have any arbitrary limit. Most states don't.

California Counties arbitrary 3 gun limit actually came about for the simple reason the clerk who created the original application only put three lines on it.

I wonder if the increase in carry guns is due to new software or contracting with permitium

So, presumably all of one's extra guns will be included on the permit? Constrained only by the size of the permit itself?

ALL OF THEM!

For me, that is currently over 20. Given the California 30 day challenge, that number shall grow by 12 a year. A few won’t be carry guns (like a 629 Stealth Hunter) but the goal is to acquire the entire handgun roster

I actually have only 3 CCW guns. However, I like having all of the firearms I take to the range on a regular basis be on my permit so I don't have to worry about locked container rules.

^^^ This is why. While you will typically only carry one (maybe two) you may want to have a different one loaded in each car/truck or maybe multiple handguns in each.

While in Utah and Nevada, I can carry/transport any loaded handgun I want to, it does not even need to be mine since they don't have registration.
