Default Magpull Grip on AR Help

I am trying to install a Magpull grip kit on my new AR receiver and for some reason I can't get it tight! I installed it the other day and it felt good but after a day shooting it got loose and had a little play. I am using the grip attachment that has the built in trigger guard. It seems to me that because of the loctite on the screw im not able to drive the screw it far enough? Also am I supposed to use the MIL SPEC lock nut on the bolt? I am using the bolt that came with the magpull grip and NOT the stag one that came in my LPK. I am wondering if I need to use the lock nut that came with the LPK? The bolt is pretty tight and it's still loose. I am not using a wrench just hand tight with a screw driver.
