Default This Savage Axis II with Weaver Scope Deal?

Anybody know what brand of rings for the scope?

Did they improve these over the Old Axis Scope Rings?

Because at $350 I will be picking one of these up!

Rings? Cheapest ones you'll ever see.

Bruce wished he owned a Droid RAZR.

Most likely! However they upgraded the scope so why not the rings?

Not even an upgrade, banner series was discontinued.

Bruce wished he owned a Droid RAZR.

Rings are a cheap investment.. and the weakest link at that. If it were me, I'd look into a whole base and rings combo that is well-regarded for peace of mind.

Other than not putting lock tite on the screws, this setup will put meat on the table.

Leupold rings and bases will be like $60. Not saying those are the be all or end all but I put them on my .338 win mag which is a punishing amount of recoil.

I can't say if the rings/bases are good enough or not as I don't have experience with them.
