Didn't reload anything today, but finally shot my very first reloads after a year of acquiring equipment and doing a lot of reading.

Run of the mill 55gr Hornady fmjbt .223, SB primer, with 24.0 - 24.8 gr of H335. Windy out there so groups weren't ideal. Just happy every round went bang and I didn't blow off my face.

Have never used that powder in 308 and am wondering how you can even get 49.5 grns in a 308 case, of any powder. 47 seems to be a compressed load for most at 2.80 oal. That would seem to be a very scary load to me, without even looking in the books.

Picked up some new components since a lot of mine was lost in a divorce!

Redding Type-S Match full die in 6.5 CM
Forster micrometer seating die
Redding Universal decapper
Shell holder set
Digital scale
Lapua brass
Couple hundred 140gr ELD-m
Some more H4350
Redding powder trickler

Just need more primers and time to put it all together, then I'll be good to go!

1k Starline 10mm brass just came in today, guess that will keep me occupied for a bit.

The tumbler was making noise yesterday. Went threw many loads of 45acp brass.
Now I have a bucket full. Time to start the deprime/resize process.
I better get the coffee going and the Robert Johnson CD on.

It was an extended session at the press. Needed a few BigBillBroonzy CD's along with some Johnny Winter
"Saints & Sinners" to push me over the finish line.
