i found it at gun world in burbank. and from what i gather they were a limited run for some client. so the supply may be all dried up.

I liked the OD frame so much, I got my older 220 in it as well.

The state of my collection. All German except for the 239.
Not a rail in the bunch.

No thanks. While I don't have better pistols than my SigSAUERs. I have a few rifles I like better than their 556.

Not a one, Sned. Which Sig comes in 10mm?

None from Sig, but Bruce Grey from GGI is currently doing a conversion on P220ST's to 10mm http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc.../324107199/p/1.

I'm currently on the second group waiting list for the conversion.

Ah, so it has to be the newer solid slide/steel framed Sig, eh? Hmmmm the ST is a neat one. Wonder if you can have it Nitron'd black afterwards?

Very cool... especially if he demills that rail, heheh. Nice pistol (to be) Sned. The above pic is for illust. purposes only. It's def not one of mine.

I bought this same model. The slide will stick for the first 500 rounds. Then you should be good.

Got my 556 Pistol on Gun Broker, got it all Cali legal (bullet button, single sled mag) then sent to my FFL and registered to me as a single shot pistol then swapped out the sled for a 10rnd fix mag.

Wow. That's crazy! Sweet collection though. Sigs are great, but you aren't into a little variety? I love pizza, but I don't think I would be satisfied if that's all I had!

You got that from Gun World in Burbank huh? Hehehe. There were at least two when I bought mine...the one I have and the one left in the case.

I went back to buy the one in the case for a sigforum member. A bunch of the guys there loved the OD and asked where I got it. They still talk about it from time to time.

Have you found out anything else about the pistol? I emailed Sig and got a response that they would have to do some research but never did back to me. I did hear that they are from a Government contract over run but that's hearsay that's the reason for my email to Sig.

Now I'm glad I didn't buy it and you got it. I'd rather have a Cali guy pick it up than someone out of State.

thats pretty much the same info i've got... they were an over run. theres also another OD 229r model floating out there it was i guess an R&D model that had front slide serrations.

Yeah...this one is BEAUTIFUL...It's more bronze looking than OD. This is Veritas Aequitas' pistol from Sigforum. He worked for sig and while they were testing the color for the pistol he got it from their first run. Talk about rare. I hope he doesn't mind me borrowing it.
