Here's a clean pic of my Les Baer Premier II. Right after I brought it home from the FFL.

The after party:




I had ordered the gun from CJ with a few personal touches. No front cocking serrations, fiber optic front sight, blacked out rear combat sights, serrated mainspring housing, single-sided safety, Baer logo on the left side vs the "45 ACP" and the 1.5" guarantee.

I likewise had a few bobbles (ok, a lot) with the gun. Les Baer's customer service didn't quite pan out. Sent it to Rob at Alchemy Custom and had another barrel fitted with a new extractor and slide stop. Been flawless since!

Only other change I had Rob do was install a Dawson Precision fiber optic. The LB fiber optic was quite bulbous and not very precise. I liked the Dawson FO much better.

Other than that, it's been a willing dance partner out on the range. It served me very well at a 4 day defensive handgun class and makes both myself and my wife look good out on the range. I have over 3,000 rounds down range at this point. Lost track. I love the way the bluing is wearing too. It's always a plus to have a well worn pistol.
