Kamusta!? Pinoy dude here checking in from Daygo. DemocracyEnaction said it. I had two great Uncles (brothers) that fought alongside American GI's in Corregidor island and even managed to survive/escape the Bataan death march.
They sure told me some crazy war stories and loved to show off their battle scars while drinking San Miguel beer. I remember them fondly each time I cycle my 1903 Springfield rifle. |

If you look at my screen name, Filipinos are over represented in that sport and there tends to be all Filipino teams...and when I competed in local action matches... I'm in South OC so I can hit up SD or LA. I used to go to Burro Canyon alot, I've hit Prado for a few classes, BBB, and I think Angeles. I used to like 1911's alot, but I've chosen to move away from them for handguns. Still like them which is a shame because I know a really good gunsmith who specializes in 1911s. Shotgun, rifle, handgun I'm in. I haven't done 3 gun but I'd be interested if someone else already does it (I'm 90% setup for it and have the other 10% but don't want to mount it). Also if anyone goes pig or turkey hunting and doesn't mind a Tag-a-long I'd be interested. I'm supposed to be in the Monterey Bay area in a week and I was going to go pig hunting on Monday and Tuesday but I don't think I will unless someone up that way needs a hunting partner for those two days - I don't have my own gambrel but I do have an unused pig tag Pics:

Wow. Both my parents and my wife are from Vigan. I spent many summer vacations there before immigrating to the US.
I miss the longaniza, bagnet and empanada from the plaza. |
