Asides from being excessively top heavy Hi-Points aren't terrible. Especially not for less than $200.

So was I trying to convert people to Glocks when I only shot and carried Carried Apex modified M&P's? What about when I took a Grayguns class with a P226r? Oh and what gun did I send to Harrison Customs? Oh yeah a Les Baer 1911.
Sorry, but you have the wrong person yet I've seen you go out of your way to bash Glock owners.

Of the striker fired pistols I own I would rank them as follows;

H&K P7M13
Walther P99
Glock 19

Haha. This thread quickly turned into a glock pro and con fest. This goes to show that rating a glock as the premier pistol will quickly be contested. Of the poly guns, the glock is unanimously voted with the most awkward feel. Before all u glocks gurus bash back, let me clarify that im referring to "feel" only; grip ergonomics. And not just my opinion but simply based on the many gun enthusiast that agree with me. All u glock worshippers will likely disagree because in your already programmed mind, you have adjusted comfortably with the extreme angle. Believe me, i want to join the G clan but its just feels too different from all my (many) other pistols; not to mention, all the other pistols I've shoot. That's all. Go easy on me G clan

The other great striker fired pistol is the HK P9S:

Try this gun if you have a chance.

That's a sweet looking gun. Have not seen or heard much about it. I'm looking for my first poly gun.

HK P9S high lights:

polymer frame
polygonal rifling
roller delayed blowback system (just like Hk G3)
silenced version used by Navy SEAL

Mine is in .45 ACP, it's the most accurate "stock" semi-auto pistol under $1,500 I've ever fired

the design of P9S is very different from other guns yet simple. I can remove the slide off one under 1 second (no need to fire prior to remove the slide like Glock and no need to remove the slide stop like USP's).

There's one chambered in 9mm in for sale section right now.

Name dropping? How about showing the investment I've put into other platforms.

In other words, you're previous post was wrong. Just like most of them.

S&W should've undercut the trigger guard on the M&P's. The undercut on the Glock trigger guard allows for a higher grip for me.

I'll take the Ruger SR series over any of those. Better trigger by far than either the M&P or Glock, accurate, and reliable.

Shenaniguns, when did you come back to the Glock fold?

I remember some pretty warm debates between us over comparisons between the Glock and the M&P.

Almost a year ago, I also did prototype extractor testing for Apex Tactical since I had an erratic extracting Gen 4 G19.

Welcome back to the dark side ! Mwhahahahaha!

However, your mentioning of a Gen4 issue makes me happy I have a Gen3.

i used to think glocks felt like holding a brick

but after shooting it more and more, out of all the guns i've shot, it aims the easiest, has the best angle, and is just overall very easy to shoot.

this counts guns like 1911s, rugers, m&ps, etc.

What a public servant!

If only there were more people that would step in and enforce their opinion for the good of the children.

"This gun isn't comfortable. It must be junk."

"Hand fit" is a boutique quality. The Beretta 92 does not fit many hands. The grip is huge with a long trigger pull length. Yet, many small-handed service members and police learn to shoot it, and qualify.

By the way, those that read a random post by some random guy/girl, and then rush out to buy whatever the post was about because "it got an 8 in ergos", will probably get burned more than once in their life.
