The number one reason shots are missed is wrong ranging then wind

The ACSS is not just another reticle it deals with the reality of a shot.

In CQB mode the large horseshoe allows you to be on target fast and if the target is moving have the proper lead.

In medium range ranging your target is as easy as placing it in the right bracket in live situations there is no time to mil and use a calculator to determine range and then turn knobs with ACSS all the math and knob turning has been done.
The process is simple range, hold for wind and engage. In testing it has proven far more effective then other $2000 dollar optics. Shooting at a stationary target is one thing and live situations is a whole other. The reality is multiple targets at unknown distances with limited exposure and moving!

Does the optic come with some type of documentation indicating what loads will produce the best results for the ACS reticle? For example, is the common 5.56 62gr bullet the optimal choice, or is do you just zero with your favorite load and adjust slightly from there? If some of the guess work is taken out of the process, that would be helpful.

There is detail instruction on what loads.
How to dial in different barrel lengths different altitudes with different ammo and so on. We also provide ballistic help all you do is chrono your load and we tell you where to dial in and how it lines up.

Here are some loads that line up really well or dead on

Do you plan to introduce this optic with a 7.62x39 calibrated reticle?

Thanks. Will it be released at the September date you have listed for the 5.56/5.45 reticle scopes?

Any date on the .308 version? I'm buying a PTR this week that is begging for optics, and this appears to fit the bill nicely.

We are in process of confirming the CAD portion of the reticle so will not be out till next year sometime. Like any ACSS reticle it has to be confirmed then confirmed then confirmed again before production is given the go ahead. Not sure if you know this but the 1-6 version lines up with the 168SmK and M80 ball

The ACSS HUD is in the works as a DMR reticle more set for MED/LR and not CQB/MED like the 1-6. I would go with 1-6 for your particular rifle, coming next month.

Illumination turned off.

Illumination on
It allows for both eye open large field of view. Notice the line on the wall and texture of the carpet it has not changed. In person it appears really clear and fast at 1-3x

I am not sure if this has been clarified, but does the reticle work at 6x? Or at 4x or something?

Dimitri, just to confirm, will this new 1-6x BDC will work on .223/5.56, 5.45x39 as well as .308 BDC wise ?

I believe I read in another thread that the 7.62x39 (AK-47) reticule will come out next year as a different scope compatible with 300 blackout as well ?

Yes we are including instructions on how to dial in for your altitude and barrel length different loads of .223, 5.56, some .308 and 7n6. The 7.62x39 version will only be compatible with 110gr Blk out we will also list the drop for subs. What barrel length altitude and caliber do you have?

On my AR's (5.56x45mm) I'm thinking about using the 1-6x on a 20" at sea level (+ ~1000-1500').

On my AK-47 (7.62x39mm) I would use the upcoming version when compatible on my 16.3" barrel at sea level (+~ 1000-1500')

What ammo do you use for 5.56?

On the AK I would suggest something hot like Golden Tiger,Surplus, or Wolf military classic.

This test was done at 1500 ft with Golden tiger. We shot Brown bear and got hits as well.
