Talking two new ammos need opinions

Hey all,

Just wanted to pick your brain. I got two new ammos

1. for my 18" 1/9 twist olympic upper st-15 lower sporting SD3g with eotech xps-2 and a nikon 4.5 x 14 for distance. I use FMJ usually but I wanted to try some defensive ammo. I got http://www.midwayusa.com/product/119...oint-box-of-20 for $26.97 at wild sports and it retailed at $30 on Midway. Opinons? I usually shoot 52 or 55 grain but 60 should Work well. I live in an apartment so this is worst case inside scenario or outside in a populated urban apt. enviroment.

2. I Usually run Gold Dots in my Custom two but the flying ashtray front bugs me mentally for reliability. I know it'll feed fine but my mind just bugs over it. It also has feed issues 2-10 times when racking instead of slide stop. Soooo I got some hornady critical defense http://www.midwayusa.com/product/233...ding-box-of-20 for $21.97 same place midways price $22.49
same scenario apt. defensive urban parking lot fight or inside CQB apt fight.

I run 3 mags on each weapon. The Kimbers running trijicons. Mmags and weapons holstered but the AR is loose need a single point me thinks. This is strictly hypothetical so pl no flames I ain't a nut lol. Just like to have all my bases covered. I have plenty of FMJ for both also btw if it matters should I mix a mag of FMJ in there maybe on each weapon?

Thanks for any positive imput you might be able to provide.

I can only recommend to you is to function test by actual firing of both rifle and pistol of the ammo you have stated. Accuracy I would guess would be decent or good for both ammo.

Since you live in a apartment, overpenetration is very likely since only 2 - 5/8" thickness drywall seperates you from your next door neighbor.
