So if you're not in top 10-15 in line, do you spend half a day just to DROS?

For those that find waiting in line to save a few bucks is crazy...be thankful your time is worth more. For others, and not all cases but it's a means to consumers at prices they can afford and find value in burning a work day(if you work)to save money on a deal.

Be thankful for what you have and never take things for granted....good luck to those waiting in line. I hope you guys find what you are after.

It was a $500 savings, but still a high enough price to price out the masses.

I just realized bug out packs are actually useful for camping out at sales events.

Drove by at 7 and there were at least 100 people inline so I just kept driving to work. I might swing by at lunch to see what's left.

They do but there is vacation time. I think people are there to spend their tax returns. I can't DROS for 2 more weeks so I was planning on just paying and leaving quick.

The lady inside told me the line tapped out at 300. I got my ruger American in 308 and a cooler. Got there at 5:30 last night and was 7th in line. From what I can tell, when they were handing out the cards for the guns at 7am, the Kimber went first followed by the ruger American.

Is that Kimber really that good of deal? I have an SA loaded already and was considering this Kimber.

Only one gun. I would have paid you to get me the Kimber. Glad you got what you wanted.

In hindsight that wouldn't be fair to those who waited in line all night.

I mean it's 300 bucks off (Kimber). My ruger was 50% off so I was sold. I can't seem to find a better price for that specific one after you factor in transfer fees so it's all good for me!

No line anymore. I'm heading out now! Ammo will be gone within 2 hours I would say, if not quicker. Every single person I see buying the max.

For those who are there, is there a lot of activity on the fishing side of the store? Don't really care to wait for the guns, but their fishing stuff is pretty good too

Nice snag on that ruger! I wasn't completely sold on that Kimber else I'd be out there with the masses.

Yeah, I went this year, walked right up to the counter. Didn't buy then, now I have buyers remorse. Line wasn't bad, picked a new rod. Not like a need a new reel, but I'm a sucker for a deal.

Wait in line for 12 hours, buy guns you don't need, sell them, profit. You could probably come out with $200. Is this why people do these campouts because it pays?

Good point. Didn't think of it that way. For me, time is money so 12 hours for $200 isn't a good deal.

People were buying for themselves. Most guys I talked to had the day off work. No one I talked to planned on selling for profit. It was a good deal and they had the free time.
