Default C&R + COE, 4473.

I dont think it is required, but do you have a C&R/COE guy execute a 4473? I always have for continuity reasons, having the packets the same.

Any Pros/Cons other than have more paperwork?

It's not required, but most still make the 03 fill one out though for whatever reason. IMHO, more paperwork equals more chances for the .gov to ding you.

Not required and as said, it is something that if there is a mistake you could get written up for.

I was told by a person I trust at the BATF to not have them fill it out. I follow that advice.

There really isn't any pro to having them fill it out, just con.

It is hard to do as all of the usual stuff isn't done, but it is best thing to do only that which is required.

The lack of 4473 only applies to C&R firearms, correct? Since the FFL03 isn't valid for modern firearms (in regards to ATF logging purposes).

I had a guy come in with his C&R/COE for multi handgun purchase and I still made him do 4473.

Yes, only for C&R firearms. If they also bought a modern gun, they would have to fill out a 4473, but you wouldn't need to put the C&R on the 4473 and any C&Rs wouldn't count for multiple firearms as they are considered licensed only for C&Rs.
