Default 3D Printing, the Coming Revolution

It started out as an email from an investment group, making stock recommendations on emerging technologies. A few web searches later......

* The Cuomo Magazine

Quote:
Using 3D printers and schematics available on the Internet, gun owners can manufacture a fully functional, plastic magazine clip. Plans are free, although getting access to a 3D printer may prove expensive, at least for now.

3D Printer Creates Gun Model
Quote:
A gun made from a high-tech 3D printer has sparked a whole new debate about gun regulations.

Neometrix Technologies, an engineering firm that does 3D scanning and printing in Lake Mary, Florida, made a prototype for My Fox Orlando.

"We downloaded a 3D model of a handgun from the Internet and plugged that into the printer. It will make it layer by layer," said Dan Perreault, President and CEO of NeoMetrix Technologies Inc told the news channel.

I love what is going on with 3-d Technology right now but its not going to stop the bad guys from getting their hands on any types of firearms when they can print them.
I saw a website somewhere where they had printed nearly the entire AR. Impressive.
