Default 32 Acp load

Anyone know of a published load for 32acp with 71 grain copper plated bullets. I find data for jacketed bullets but not plated or lead.

I would just go with mid-range jacketed loads for plated, that's what I do with plated 9mm, .40, .45acp, and 45 Colt. I don't think you can push a .32 fast enough to hurt a plated slug.

Ol shooter. I'm not concerned about the jacket as much as the gun. It's a colt 1903 built in 1905.

A 4 grain difference isn't going to make an lick of difference.

Plenty of 71gr FMJ data. With plated, start at the very bottom end (or even a 1/10th below) and work up. I load 2.1grs of 231 under a 71gr cast lead and it shoots well. No doubt that would be a safe load with plated.

Understood. You haven't stated what powder you intend on using, here are some loads for 71gr. from the Hodgdon site. If you stay in the middle of the load scale, plated will shoot good and your gun is safe as long as it's in good shooting condition.
