Default Help mounting a scope on a long action Savage?

I was setting up to put a Redfield Revolution on my 30-06 Savage, 111. I have a Warne 2 piece base and Warne Maxima rings. I finger tightened the base and quickly realized the scope wouldn't fit. The rings would hit the bell in front or the focus knob in the back.

I checked my other rifles, to see if I could swap for a scope with a longer tube. But none would fit. All have too short of a max ring distance. I guess Savage long actions are really long.

So my options are to find a scope with a longer tube. Or get this base...

I think Warne has extended 2 pc bases that may work, but I haven't been able to find out for sure from the various vendor websites, including Warne.

Anyone have solutions?

Savage actions are a pain. The best option I found is a 1 piece picatinny rail. Easiest to move rings back and forward.

I would go with the EGW Base.

I went down to MBR in Culver City, and got a Weaver one piece base just like the EGW base. Since the rifle has a black plastic accustock, a picatinny rail doesn't look out of place. Totally happy and moving on with mounting. Thanks guys. Oh, and the little lug that mates to the front of the ejection port was a cool surprise.
