I ended up going with liberator 3's and DPTT with wouxon's

Vetting out a new gear setup

Really like running plate carrier empty, but recent run has me thinking I need to move "pistol-ammo-pouches" up to the belt, current stacked setup caused some fumbling.

If you are looking for a knife - it is on the belt that holds up my pants

Laundry list

5.11 PC with Old School ceramic plates
Safariland Soft-Armor used seperately or together as need requires
5.11 VTac Battle Belt
TAG Riggers Belt
Leatherman MUT
Safariland 6004 DropLeg Platform with GCODE Holster and RTI Adapter
TAG Medical Kit
Maxpedition Small Drop Pouch
GCode D3 carrier with DL option
Surefire Tactical light in Ammo pouch (works greta for me)

For the curious, I run a SIG P226 with a total of 4 magazines (I'm far more proficient with a handgun than a carbine, but I'm working on it).

Curious on how you guys have your holster set up. Pictures please.

My current config is too high and limits movement of hip. I'm not quite sure I want to drop-leg it as that also is pretty awkward. The post above mine seems a bit ideal.

Does it move around at all if you're running a bit?

I prefer a higher holster, it is secure and always in the same place when I reach for it, not changing with my movements.

I try to keep my KIT clean and tested for each thing I do and reach for. I see so many that crowed their holster, draw stroke and other movements in the name of looking Tacticool.

The buckles attach to the MOLLE/PALS webbing. They have slots so you can attach them, similar to the MOLLE grimlocks.

Thank you, excuse my ignorance but how secure is that?

The D rings have a tiny little slot that allow you to slip the MOLLE webbing through with a little difficulty (About 1 minute to 3 minutes of your time depending on how tight / or broken in your MOLLE is). They will not undo themselves because it is near impossible.

The only way the Armorbak will become unsecured is whatever the break point is for those D Rings. It should not be a concern unless you start dragging a 6' / 300 lbs. person by the Camelbak (which you wouldn't be doing anyways).

If you meant "secure" as in not moving around when you're running, it will have an acceptable amount of play.

Ive played around with relocating my sidearm, but ultimately ended up with it back on my belt. Can't beat the muscle memory, plus i can easily retain it with my elbow (if you train for that)

I've always been a fan of woodland camo, where did you find it available is the big question.

I got rid of ally plate carriers.
I only have a couple SKDTAC PIGs with mollevella admin bibs.
I run 8 mags, there are four pistol mag pockets. Use two for torch and multitool.
Admin is my ifak. Blow out Kit, Israeli, triangle, Russian.
CAT on my off shoulder.
Belt is 1 1/2" heavy nylon. 5.11 Vtac thimbdrive. G34
3 double fobus. 6 mags and a dump pouch.

I had the Ceradyne XLs, mciras, battlebelts and all types of crap stacked on.
I'm too big. I had all the bells n whistles.
Reality set in when I went prone the first time. My 58" chest was about 3 feet off the ground.
Full kit is not for me. I'm a big boy. Just gonna get me shot because I'm moving slow motion.

I know the feeling, when I proned with my PC on the first time with 6 mags up front I felt like I was standing height still with my rifle on its mag, talk about eye relief. I still have the 6 mags on there since I honestly need them with 10 rounders, but I dont have anything above them, everything stays on the sides or belt

That's why I opted to use the kangaroo pouch on my 6094. I don't want to be a tactical turtle.

Bought a Glock, I figured because all of my Esstac 1911 KYWIs wouldn't work, I bought a bunch of tacos, and put the holster on a Safariland QLS. Also picked up that small general purpose pouch from HSGI to hold my phone and Leatherman MUT.

Anyone can buy them. They're on amazon for around $40. You can listen to certain frequencies, but if you haven't played with radios, programming them will take you hours. transmitting on ham radio frequencies and repeaters is a federal offense without a license. Using them with FRS/GMRS frequencies is also a federal part 95 offense since these are classified as amateur radios and not walmart/radio shack walkie talkies. You can also listen to police and fire dispatch. listening to specific squad cars and fire engines is impossible on these radios due to something called digital trunking which understanding will take a couple of days. Basically the radio transmits data instead of voice which is encoded and then decoded upon receiving. Only Trunked scanners can listen, and obviously transmitting on fire and police bands is very illegalmente.
