Yep a lot of new users. I think Kestryll mentioned that in 2 days we went threw 600gb of bandwidth which is unrepresented for this site.

I did a little IP investigation and I'd have to bet the issue is with the hosting company not being able to support all this traffic.

The hosting company (GeoVario) is a relative newcomer to this business, starting business in 2008... so I bet they just dont have the infrastructure/personnel to support all the traffic!

Nothing to worry about as the world ends tomorrow anyway! LOL!

Just give it time to die down... all this gun buying frenzy and worries over state and/or fed crackdown has everyone nervous and referring to this site and many like it I am sure!

Another good reason to hate the gougers!

Not only are they ripping us off but they're taking all of the CGN bandwidth too.

There's a bug in the system. It will die off soon enough...

Ah, young one, why are you in such a hurry? We should remember those words of the Masters Simon and Garfunkel:

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

Ba da, Ba da, Ba da, Ba da...Feelin' Groovy.

Hello lamp-post,
What cha knowin'?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.

I've got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all it's petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.

When things slowdown to a crawl, the wise man using Firefox disables scripts from Facebook, then stops loading the page, and then reloads it. Sometimes that brings gratification, sometimes not. Then he changes server location on his VPN to a less traveled pathway and tries again. Still, sometimes the gods of IT refuse to cooperate. When things are impossible it is best to gurgle the hooka and seek peace within.

lol yeah and they keep posting btt all pissed because the $150 receiver they bought 2 months ago wont sell for $350 or more. poor them.
I want to slap those people that are only on here in attempt to make a buck

the good thing is that people are starting to realize they can get a complete ar style for around $700 or a cheap lower receiver if they just wait for a little bit.

They need to move the site to a new web hosting company. One that can handle the traffic.

Old dog slow?

My dog is old and she's not as slow as Calguns; even the taxidermist that stuffed her 5 years ago agrees with me.

Last night I found the website real slow and it still is. I got a Pop Up asking me if I wanted to stop or continue running Scripts.
I have seen since the announcement of the terrible guns ban, more people on viewing Private Sales. After about 9 or 10 pm until about 7am, there were usually 200-300 viewing and about 300-400 viewing during the day. Now its about the latter in the morning and about 600 during the day.
That could be part of the answer.
Why so many viewing?...........Aah yea, know I know why!!

Default Loooong page loads

Its probably that pesky interception bottleneck/data-mine created in A.T.&T. Room 641A where the beam splitters (that have been tapped into the entire main trunk) are interfacing to the Narus STA 6400 supercomputer that the N_s__A uses to illegally intercept & analyze massive scale internet communications..............those guys,....... they're always messin' with their gadgets.

Still seems to be hit-or-miss lately. Today is fast as ever but the last few nights haven't been great. Maybe we should all donate a few bucks to up the bandwidth!

Go to your command post CP scroll to the bottom and you'll see the drop down menu on the left and set it to 1.0
