Dang. Now where do we send all that used range brass?

No, not from the ones you shoot yourself for reloading. The ones with uncertain pedigree.

Their Hush ammo was good if suppressed too, I heard. No, I meant, I didn't hear lol.

The end of major CA ammo sales push them over the edge?

Not yet, if they are able to re-org the business model, cut the costs and/or raise the price. Otherwise, they are going down soon. Then again, cost cut, as we all know, very often ends up with poorer quality.

I too hope they pull through. California was a huge portion of their business. Guess the mail order ammo ban hit them hard. Who knows.

Just means us reloaders would have to make up the difference. Wish I'd pulled the trigger a few weeks ago when they were having their 10% off sales

I switched to RMR bullets long ago. Great people, great products, great prices. They make their own FMJ bullets now too.

The only reason the CA mail order ban should affect them is that people don't know to get their 03 FFL and COE so they can order ammo delivered.

If more people knew this and did this the ban would be proven to be useless and ineffective at reducing crime.

That or they are too lazy to get their C&R and COE. I’m just thankful my new home state isn’t retarded like Cali to have such bans.

Good thing I stocked up ahead of time... About another 1.5-2 years of .38/.357, AND 9mm before I need to buy again... Unless I see a sale.

Good.

They sent me some deep seated, high pressure .40 that would have blown up my gun. Midget bullets. Then they had the audacity to tell me that it must have happened during transport. I'm not an expert on reloading but have done enough to know they are not honest or competent.

Learn to handload. Components are all available from just about any type vendor. I usually purchase at "Philipps Wholesale". If not able to get X-treme bullets, you can use Missouri bullets. They are less expensive and very good. I'm giving their 200gr lswc[H&G #68 clone] in my 1911-A1. Plain and coated.
Learning to handload cures a LOT of problems.

Their reman ammo is inconsistently loaded.
Their new ammo is fine but nothing special.
Their bullets are often undersized and tumble.

See ya...

I think they use the hardest primers I've ever had the (dis)pleasure of firing from my 500. Like, 1:3 would not ignite even with an extended firing pin in single action. Wasn't the revolver either, every other factory round and all my hand loads work perfectly fine. I've gone through about 200 rounds of their Big Grains rounds from different batches, all the same results

Is that even possible?
Personally i won't miss the posts of blown up guns, missing primers and bullets set deeper than the Mariana trench. I definitely won't miss having to sort their crappy stepped brass.

I have fired thousands of rounds of their ammo without issue, both reman and new (.223/.308). Still working on my last .308 case and it as been consistently good. Here's hoping they can come back successfully.

I gotta say, I really hate the stepped brass they use. So if I ordered online, it wouldn't be from them as I consider their brass un-reloadable.
