Default I better buy those semi autos now.

With a Newsom governor literally upon us, I think it's time for me to take action.

Next week I'm going to buy that HK and possibly that 1911 but I've been wanting. I may not be able to get them soon. Gavin is going to sign every piece of legislation that crosses his desk.

While his election may create some market panic for handguns, I think the initial efforts will be the collection of common "AR" type rifles/carbines.
I have no plans for acquiring any more firearms; I have been giving a number away to friends and others lately, in preparation for our departure back to America.

I don't anticipate semi-auto handguns being subject to further bands other than the Roster and Microstamping minimizing availability anyway, however I do fully expect to see some harsh 2nd Amendment infringements by way of legislation, and particularly persecution and villification levied against Registered Assault Weapons, possibly an all out mandate to turn them in.

For those that are "featureless" we may see some legislation sought, but it will ultimately fail in the courts, particularly the current Supreme Court that now respects the 2nd Amendment as it should be.

Some of these things will take Newsom and his favorable Legislators a couple of years to accomplish, but don't be surprised if we see a large quiver in submissions of Anti-2nd Amendment legislation presented next spring (2019) knowing they have a free reign of rubber-stamp passes with Newsom.

That "Australia style" comment Newsom has made in the past is now a reality.

Keep watch for it, and stay vigilant.

I'm feeling sick.

Gavin might be good for initial gun sales, but we all know infringement of the 2nd Amendment is right around the corner.

How are you going to afford buying a HK P7 or Nighthawk when just a couple months ago you needed to sell a Glock to pay off some bills and make space in your small safe? Stop fooling yourself. You are a Glock man and will always be one.

Make sure to register everything so they can come pick them up when king Newsom and his cronies pass the law to confiscate.

I’m hoping for a good Veterans Day sale, because a RIA GI was a steal over at Sportsmans last year.

Luckily, I stocked up on cheap ARs so I could sell them here on the CalGuns Marketplace for 2x/3x.

Move your guns out of state, take them apart, send one to grannie's house, bury them in the desert. The RKBA is for people to defend themselves against an evil government. You must retain the means to do it. If you have all your guns in your house, you're doing it wrong.

Hi DOJ!

You will be wasting your money buying any semi-autos, they will be banned and confiscated. It's for the children don't you know. Although all the scumbags he let's in will bring their Obama/Holder weapons with them to California and that's OK because it's their culture to be violent criminal gangs.

Gavin and his band of Leftist is the last nail in the coffin for California, GTFO mode is activated. The Free-Shyte Army has officially taken control of this once great state.

^^^ This.

With the Senate win yesterday, we have at least a two more years cushion to fill all the vacancies on circuit courts and any unexpected vacancy on SCOTUS (nobody lives forever) to cement the majority.

Pushing more anti gun agenda in CA is likely to be a blessing in disguise in the long run...

Exactly.

I am so bummed a Democrat won the senate seat too. Oh, wait, it was between two Democrats. Maybe it's just that we live in a deep blue state or something... /sarcasm

I think people keep forgetting that, he will not be happy with only banning and he has publicly made clear multiple times, he wont care about infringing on people's rights and he won't care about what anyone has to say outside of California, he'll ignore them just like has been going on with the Sanctuary cities He will make Brown look like a 2a advocate.

Keep in mind, now is a very good time to consider purchasing a quality revolver. I do understand that pistols are now the hot ticket, but for those that do not own a quality S&W revolver, now is a good time to make the purchase.

History has shown that the gun grabbers concentrate on pistols and "assault weapons", and for the most part leave 6 shot revolvers alone.
