They must be CalGuns.net members. There is a note at the bottom:

It will show discoloration which is caused by a process known as annealing. This is completely normal.

The MIR does not list the MFR# for this product on the rebate form: XM193IBK

The boxes in the picture show XM193I, which IS on the form.

Can anyone confirm that the link in the OP qualifies for the rebate?

Thanks.

yep.

it doesn't take that long if you cut it out.

i took 25 minutes to thinly slice it out using exacto knife. and that is so i can keep the boxes intact and not having to empty the rounds loose into ammo can. (used exacto to score the surface around the UPC, then i just carefully lifted it away thus separating the top surface that had the UPC printed on it)

if you don't care to keep the boxes intact, it would take even less time. probably under 15 minutes with a sharp scissor.

For me, 50 boxes X 20 per box = 1,000 rds.

Hmm, for $10 more/per 1000 rounds. Would you guys go with the AE223 instead?

Granted thanks to gift cards and active junky I also have several thousands rounds of IMI M193 from Cabelas, so maybe I'm just a IMI junky

I've never had any issue with FED/AE ammo, just my reasons why I went with the Independence over it.

Huh? Brass is metal. Do you mean steel case?
Neither of those 2 cases of 223 linked above are steel cased. Both brass case and both made by federal

Some of the reviewers at the second link indicate they received steel cased ammo when ordering that one.

So, has anyone confirmed that the ammo at the first link is part of the rebate?

Hey Guys:

I ordered 2000 rounds or 4 x 500 round cases. The Federal web site says Case bar codes are acceptable
All the adds I have seen say the Independence ammo is imi brass cased ammo.

Take care

Hank

Well I bit and went for some. With AJ it's the cheapest I've seen. Though I don't have a C credit card or any 20% GC, so I haven't pride close to Cabelas.
