Because of all this FUD in the air, I just ordered an M6A2. I should have it by the end of Jan, beginning of Feb. I cannot wait! I'll be posting some pictures =D

Wish I had one to post. I'm tossed up between an M6A3 and an M6A2 SPR. Also not even sure if should get the 14 or 16" barrel.

I'd get the SPR 16" then install a PWS muzzle device

I'd go for the SPR first in either 14.7 or 16. Not to discount the A3 as its been discontinued, but is still a great gun. You will appreciate the balance of the SPR as well as the rail system.

I am leaning more towards the SPR. I do realize the M6A3 has been discontinued but was looking for used.

Still undecided on the length of the barrel. Think with the longer barrel you get a mid length gas system.

The SPR has the mid length system regardless of barrel size. I went with the 14.7" because I have an A2 in 16" but wouldn't hesitate to go with a 16" SPR. In fact after buying and shooting the SPR, I had to change the rail on my A2 to a Samson Evo because I liked the SPR rail so much.

Alex M., do you mind posting a pic of it? I want the Samson rail but not sure if I should get the 11" or longer. You can PM it to me if you'd like

Here she is in featureless format. Also the rail does sit on the gas block since I have an older model gas block but I will be remedying that issue soon.

I didnt know that both barrel lengths had the mid length gas system. You have now made my decision harder.

Definitely helps with the balance. Not sure how much weight it actually reduced if any but it does feel lighter. I can tell you that with the scope off its almost 8 lbs.

I really do love the Samson Evo rails. I had one on my LW, but had issues with the gas block too. How did you/will you solve the problem?

Was going to Dremel out some of the inside of the rail, but decided against it. I figure if it is an issue I will just send my upper back to be re-barreled with a mid length system (which I was planning to do anyway) and have them replace the old style gas block with the new.

Can you measure the length of the LWRC stock please? They're supposedly shorter than any other stock but I'd like to know the length before ordering. Thanks,
