Here we go -

Limiting guns to 5 round mags and only 20 rounds per month can be bought - imagine a day at the shooting range with 10-20 rounds only.

Precisely the reason to stock up, whether buying ammo or reloading components. They will stop at nothing, and likely get it given the government and legislature here in this craphole state.

Time to take their approach - by any means necessary.

That still doesn't make sense. If someone had 4 mags loaded with 5 shots each (20 rounds), they would still be able to kill 20 or so people. So the point is????

And if it's an illegal/criminal, they don't respect or abide by ANY Laws anyway...so what's the point again???

the only silver lining in this bill, is that those old school shooters are involved too.

like the article/quote said, even those revolvers with 6 shot cylinders would be affected and those guys would not want to weld a plug into one of their precious old school revolvers.

this would also hit their lever guns too. they would have to plug them up like the hunting shotguns

Kids who can't grow up shooting today are more likely to vote for gun control after they turn 18.

I'm glad that they're making these types of laws, as the true intent of the Left's gun control measures is being revealed. It shows a clear attempt to keep the general public incapable of meaningfully bearing arms. Any appearance of a goal of public safety is non-existent.

The intent is to make gun ownership so onerous it will be no fun and folk will lose interest in the hobby over time.

Firearms are not a hobby, they are the means to a God given right.

Does the 5-rounds limit apply to revolvers? Because if so, it would practically ban most revolvers, except for a few 5-rounders?

Or revolvers where you shouldn't have the hammer down on a loaded chamber.

Stupid law, that law will create the black market for ammo. Or the law makers think that all of the dope sellers will sell ammo instead of cocaine.

Utah's gun laws are and will always be determined by Congress and POTUS... OR, WA, CA, NY, NJ, ETC. always make up their own laws... This is not surprising to me.

In California, a dump, ****ty, antigun, third class candidate always have more chance to win an election than an intelligence, integrity, pro 2nd Amendment candidate.

a legit argument but they could always counter that a revolver would be exempt since it doesn't use a magazine - as for the 20 rounds a month, most the ammo i buy is sold in 50 round boxes

what i don't buy into is letting kids (students) decide what is best for a State - will they get to decide other issues for the State too

Democrats and their allies in media, education, unions, etc have signed on to international law, which requires a total ban on private ownership of firearms.

The biggest threat to implementing international law was the Republican Party. Today the biggest threat to International Law comes from President Donald Trump who has ratcheted up American sovereignty to a new level.

Fact is Democrats hate everything about America and this 5 round nonsense proves it !
