Default DDM4 V7 doesn't fit!

Hey guys, I'm helping my buddy build his first AR. We bought a V7 upper, and tried to mate it to a brand new PSA lower and front takedown pin will not go into the hole.. We tried it on another lower(used) as well so we know its not the lower.. Is it possible the hole is out of spec on the upper? Right now the upper and lower is stuck together, with the pin completely out.. appears the width of the connection point maybe too big as well.

Hit it through with a rubber mallet if you have one, once you shoot the rifle a little it should loosen up. Hope this helps.

I have a V7 upper and it will loosen up in time. I have to tap it at first but its now easier to take down the pins without a tool. You have to press the upper and lower as well together. I tried my M&p lower from my other AR before assembling the Mega lower that went with the V7, So I knew before hand that it is a tight fit. With this, I bought some extended pins to make it easier for me to pull them. They help out quite a bit.

K, we'll be in this afternoon. I know its a little hard the first time, but its way too tight for me to feel comfortable putting any more force on it. Don't want to break or scratch anything..

I had to tap my pin in for my v5, seems their uppers are very tight.
