Default SKS thread for Turners and or JG sales "sino soviet" SKS's!!

i havnt got mine yet, but i figure we should start a thread specifically for these rifles, what with all the excitement and mystery surrounding them, the face that there was good bad and ugly, and then uglier, id love to see a thread of these and i promise, mine will be in here eventually!!!

Mine just came in from Classic. Did anybody else get a stock marked with a star? I'm new to the SKS game but initial research says its a "first year Sino-Soviet" as per Yooper J's page...will get better pics later, just shot a few quickies with the cell phone.
ETA: It's a 3 million series rifle

Its a spike bayonet, got it from Esarco inc. $25 bucks. Was painted, so I stripped it.

Its not easy, I had to fit it and trim the crossbolt down. I wouldnt recommend it if you are not good fitting stocks.

Chi Com SKS all made nice by Khyber Pass Restorations. The stock was stripped and steamed and the metal was blackened. Not bad for a $200.00.
pick up.

Lotta nice looking rifles in here!!! BTW, these are early chinese, not Sino-Soviets as they lack the cyrillic prefix letter on the serial number. just saying..
