I have the 925M which is the magazine fed version of the same rifle. Good shooter. Two issues are the magazines (which you won't have) and if you run a lot of ammo (50 rounds or more) in a short period of time the barrel will heat up and the POI drops about an inch @ 100yds, at least mine does. When I say the barrel heats up I mean you can barely touch it for a short time or get out the bandaids. I like mine.

I have one. I like it well enough. Bought it after the Condor Zone went into effect because there was lead free ammo available for it. Took about a year for them to come out with lead free for the 17HMR.
Ammo is about the same $.

I have the 981T which is pretty much the same thing except for 22lr. Great gun, will probably never sell it.
The stock feels cheap, but is very solid. The stock was designed for a scope so the comb of the stock renders the iron sights unusable. I can't get my cheek low enough to align my eye with the sight line. In order to use the iron sights I pretty much have to cant the rifle 90 degrees. I have Asian facial bone structure if that means anything; maybe I just have big cheek bones. Put a scope on it. Definitely get one of these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/812...-polymer-clear They come in 6, 11, 15, 17, and 19. Don't know what those counts would be in 22wm. Also bought myself a couple of these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/299...-base-12-gloss Don't know if the 22wm receiver has a different circumference, but the #12s fit mine. |
