Tulare Co 2022
I'm nearing the three-month point on my application. I had a CCW from SLO county before moving to Tulare County.
Contacted the sheriff's office and it sounded like they were still waiting for information from the local cops (they won't find anything--not even a jaywalking warning) and the State DOJ. The DOJ delay is odd, since I have a current and valid COE. They claim it's currently taking them 5 months to issue initial CCW permits, which is ridiculous. If you do the math, I started the process before Bruen came down, so I should be farther along in the queue than those who decided to get one post-Bruen. In what world is 5 months an acceptable timeframe, especially in what was effectively a "shall issue" county pre-Bruen?! |

Patience is virtue.
It’s the DOJ taking their time. Depending on how they send TCSD the results, it may cause further delays. Has your livescam completed yet? |

Completed the livescan 2 1/2 months ago. Don't see what the DOJ really needs to do, since I have a valid COE.

Maybe they are waiting for the results of their NSA request into every social media, and internet forum, and E-mail search. For the last ten years to establish your GMC. [sarc] |
