Default CCW in hand!

GOT IT! As I opened the mail box this afternoon, THE envelope was there! What an ordeal, but now, it's in hand. Yippee. Now to get serious and figure out how I'm best going to carry. I already face an issue with purse carry (as I ordered a bag yesterday) I will be playing bunco tomorrow night. It's really not possible to have my purse on my shoulder playing musical chairs (well, 3 different tables, 12 different times) I suppose I could just carry it and move it around with me down by my feet. Or just not bring it. This is SO why on the body carry is better, but I don't have that figured out just yet.

Congratulations!

My daughter had issues with carrying also. She started with purse carry but found that problematic when she went out with leaving her purse sitting around. At 5'1" and 100 Lbs she can't hide many holsters so she went with a Kahr 9mm subcompact in the small of the back and wears a loose open shirt over the tank tops.

A friend of mine found this works for her; small-frame semi-auto (she uses a Glock 26) in a cross-draw holster, but it is in front of her hip, almost in line with her left leg (she is right handed). Seems an unusual presentation, but it allows a combat grip, she can draw while seated and it conceals well.

Congratulations and good luck with the holster hunt.

I've thought of this...not sure it would work for me. I'm going to carry a Kahr 9mm...it's little, single stack and just about as small as I want to go. I hope to "mature" into something that works. Time will tell

^^^Sentiments exactly. But congrats just the same. Kahr K9s are awesome. So are P9s but I like the weight of the K9 better.
