I think there's a safety issue with Kroil so it is only sold to businesses that use it in their operations as opposed to individuals (retail). When I ordered from Kano Labs I had to sign something that said I was a business.

If you want to buy a can of areosol, I have an unused spare can. Hit me with a PM.

If you can't find Kroil, CRC makes a direct competitor Knock'er Loose

Kroil + Hoppes is one of the best lead and carbon removers I have tried. Well worth the extra shipping.

MidwayUSA and Brownells both carry it. I've yet to find anyone local that carries it.

Kano sells Kroildirectly to companies that use their product that is why you don't see it much in retail stores anymore.

PB blaster rates best if you need to loosen rusty items

BUT

mixing auto trans fluid and Acetone in a 1:1 ratio mix will give you something alot better on rusted siezed parts than any commercial product.

Bought mine from Midway. No issues.

Kano had a deal going on last month, you could buy two aerosol cans for about $12 + shipping. I can get it at Winchester Auto Supply stores in the Bay Area, don't know if they extend to Sac. Brownells also carries it.

+1 midway, just down a beer or three, the shipping hurts less that way, at least until the next day ;-)

some plumbing&industrial suppliers carry it. try a white cap or grainger if there's one in your area, or a smaller supply house. they sometimes have the aerosol, haven't seen just the oil. i bought a bunch when midway had it on sale, damn the shipping, i'd pay anything for kroil, amazing stuff.
