Default Target AR Build

I know, some of you don't like AR's. I love them, they are so versatile. Here is my latest build.

Stag Lower, CMMG LPK with polished trigger. CMMG 22" stainless full float upper. 1-9 twist.

Looking to go for 55gr at 3500+fps. I was hoping to get a 1-12 twist, but no one has any or forsees making any for quite awhile (I wanted 42gr at 4000fps).

Still deciding on the glass, we will see what plays out.

Nice build. Just curious, why the focus on such light rounds?

Built this purely for target and maybe some squirel. The lighter round will let you achieve a higher velocity and a flatter trajectory.

I would suggest you replace that sliding stock with a solid maybe adjustable stock for better accuracy.
The collapsing stocks have a tendency to wiggle or wabble some look into the Magpul PRS stock.
A bit pricy but solid as a rock and adjustable for lenght of pull and combheight.

Agreed, and already in the works. That was a stock I had floating around already (actually have two more still in boxes). Havent decided exactly which stock yet, but the options are getting smaller. Right now its shootable and I can break it in and put some glass on it.
