I called a week ago and cancelled my pre order. Luckily I held out on all the other stuff. Very glad I decided I was done.

Things are not looking great now for us CA guys and building these. In order to get ahead of the meltdown and refund talk when GS doesn't deliver, I was thinking of a potential idea that seems like it could be fair to everyone (including F&F who is sitting on a pile of capital in G43 parts i'm sure).

I'm sure some will just hit back on their credit card, or file a Paypal claim, but if people can wait a bit, would people be open to Chris selling your parts kits to free states(when GS actually delivers I think there will be a huge demand for these part), and then providing refunds as they sell. Ideally this would happen in the order that your order was received. I think this helps Chris out, who really was trying to help us out here and got screwed by the GS, and everyone gets their money back. Seems like it could be win win? Believe me I know this whole situation isn't ideal for everyone, but i'm trying to prevent this thread going nuclear. Thought's on this?

I actually intend to complete the delivery (return the frame) and sell the parts kits on my own.

Sounds like a fair idea to me.

I'd still like to complete the transaction and take delivery of the kit at this point, but if things continue to slide sideways, I may change my mind.

Thanks for trying to come up with a possible "solution!"

Maybe Chris from F&F will come on and comment on these new developments from the GS and how they could/will affect his group buy as well as a comment on Nubruns very reasonable comments above.

I don' t know if this is true or not so don' t shoot the messenger. Lol. I heard the delay is due to a copywrite issue with glock and nothing more. The only reason i think this could be true is a while back i contacted P80 to see if they would be making any of the gen 4 glocks and they told me they were still under copyright and wouldnt be able to until the copyright expired.

Plausible and would likely mean these stay stuck in limbo for a long time or licensing costs would need to be paid and prices go up.

Iím still confused why they canít sell them to CA residents even after AB 857 goes into law? As long as the customer applies for a serial number Iím not sure what the issue is. Video didnít really explain that at all. Oh well Iím going to Glock store today for my 200 credit and to hopefully return all my g43 parts they sold when I preordered.

When AB 857 becomes effective July 1, 2018 it will be illegal to manufacture a polymer framed firearm that does not contain 3.7oz of type 17-4 stainless steel, upon which the required information must be engraved.

ETA: video doesn't explain anything, because it's just dude making crap up as he goes along. Maybe if he'd actually had a plan and thought this through, they wouldn't be in this boat.

Oh and it would probably be too much in R&D to redo the frame to meet these regulations.

I really donít fault Lenny or GlockStore with this though. If it is really the regulation burden slowing this process down and not the copyright issue that some people have said.

If it's a "regulation burden", then how'd P80 get the subcompact frame through? Weren't they introduced/announced around the same time? Me thinks they bit off more than they could chew.

I don't have a dog in this fight, it's just complete bs that he's on there spewing misinformation trying to save face. Would be better if he'd just admit they didn't know what they were getting into.

Sell everything to someone in the U.S.A. or keep it unfinished until SHTF.

It does seem like he's trying to make right by folks though, I will give him that.

I guess if you're local, maybe you can get your money back, buy a engraved PF940SC frame and G26 completion kit, finish and register it by Saturday.

Has anyone contacted Chris about Glockstore's offer/email? Are the pre-orders in our names so we can trade for the $200 credit if we want?

The other option is a front picatinny rail mounted plate (epoxied). We could offer a smooth version, a version that has a rail (basically a riser made from stainless), or even a version that incorporates a weapon light (the housing would be permanently mounted but you could still replace internal parts like bulbs and batteries)

We haven't brought this to our lawyers yet, but if it's something people would be interested in, we can develop it.
Anything new?

I can see the appeal of 80% guns in CA, but in free states they seem more trouble than their worth.

Is there still a market for 80% AR receivers after this month?

The appeal of 80%s isn't always financial. Im pretty sure that these 80% companies are not making these for solely CA customers. Being in CA we definitely have a unique reason to build from an 80% but there are plenty of people outside CA that are building 80% everything for various reasons.

We've been focused on keeping the bolt action kits in stock all the way to the deadline, but will be able to work on the stainless requirement now. Everyone who is interested in a 3.7oz 17-4 stainless product send us an email info@inlanderarms.com with the following:

Which builds will you need it for
How many
Engraving? Yes/no
Grip plug or picatinny mount?

Once we get a better idea of interest we'll post an update.

Luckily I ordered the SS80 through JSD which I just asked them to give me their MUP1 (P320 80%) and the difference ($30) phew! sucks that the ATF and DOJ are lagging. oh well. Hope everyone can get their money back or some sort of compensation.

I am working with the glockstore to get a resolution. When the frames do release I will ship them. It is not a firearm. I highly doubt they will issue thier dealers gift certificates. I'm sure that's for thier direct customers... FYI this will not turn into a mosin group buy...
