Nice! Looks a bit like my 1989 3” Lew Horton round butt 629. I had it mag-na-ported as well. I had never seen one with a shorter barrel (until now!)

I have those same S&W finger groove grips, but went with Hogue later.

Default 66-1 New Sideguard Holster

Thanks to Sideguard Holsters for my new IWB for my model 66-1 2 1/2" This is about the fifth one they have made for me but the first for a K frame. Fits like a glove and retains the gun very well.

My grandfather's S&W 686+. I am now the owner. I have another one exactly like it that I carry when I'm out in the sticks. This revolver has only been fired at the factory.

Here is its older brother made by Bill Davis (whom I believe Craig used to work for).

as well its cousin (a King Cobra barrel on a Ruger Speed-Six frame - also a Davis creation).

Yes, I personal like older bluing job too. The old bluing looks much better with blue tone vs. the more modern black oxide is more black-ish.

My old PPC pistol by Fred's Gun Shop, Mechanicsville, VA (Fred Schmidt). This shoots 38SPCL full wadcutters only. It usually wore Bill Davis rubber grips when in use.
